Jammanamarathur is a Tribal area in the Jawadhi Hills. There are many tribal communities living in this area. Presently there are about 54 families are Christians and about 150 girls are staying in a residential home run by NMSI. They all come together for worship on Sundays in the girls home. Many of the tribal families hesitate to come to Girls home for worship. Therefore a piece of land is bought and registered on CSITA. There is a wider chances for more people to come for worship, if a new church building is constructed in a common place. It may be considered with high priority.
